DESCRIPTION:Join Deanna Upston at ILHIMA’s Annual Meeting! \nThis session will take an organized approach to CPT coding for spinal fusions. We will do a deep dive into the four main components required to completely and accurately capture all procedures that can be performed: grafting\, arthrodesis\, decompression and instrumentation. There will also be some anatomy and many helpful tips and tricks throughout. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nDescribe individual components in spinal arthrodesis.\nIdentify structures\, anatomy and approaches to spinal arthrodesis.\nInterpret the differences in CPT code descriptions to allow correct code choice.
