As a senior consultant, Dotsy brings more than 30 years of varied health information management leadership experience to Haugen Consulting Group. In addition, Dotsy is a skilled coder and educator. Prior to joining Haugen Consulting Group, Dotsy held leadership and coding positions in various health care settings: acute care, long term care and public health. Most recently, Dotsy served as faculty at Pueblo Community College designing instructional materials and teaching coding. Dotsy received her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania and went on to earn a health records administration certification from Regis University, Denver Colorado. Dotsy is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and an AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS trainer.
