This two part module begins by covering the anatomy of the spinal column and the spinal cord. Common procedures performed on these structures are explained. Various approaches, devices and qualifiers that are commonly assigned when coding procedures performed on this system are explored in detail. Additional services that are typically encountered with spinal surgery cases are highlighted in this module.
