Description
Many coding managers begin training coders on obstetrical charts because they are “easier” than the rest. We disagree! Based on questions from our previous webinars and education, we have assembled a list of frequently asked questions from our listeners and we will address them all in this webinar. Listen in to learn more about coding for prenatal visits and some of the intricacies of OB coding that make this service line harder than most want to admit.
Objectives:
- Select the principal/first-listed diagnosis for various OB settings
- Determine when to assign a code for Rh isoimmunization
- Recognize when to code incidental pregnancy vs. a complication of pregnancy
