Description

The intricacies of coding for oncology cases using both ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS are often taken for granted. In this webinar, we will examine coding guidelines and commonly miscoded cancer diagnoses. We will also address coding for common therapies for cancer, including new technologies for biologic response modifiers.

Kristi has an extensive background in coding education and consulting and is a national speaker and published writer on topics related to ICD-10 and CPT coding and code-based reimbursement.     So much good and informative information. The info on Tamoxifen was new to me as I had always thought it was given for the history of cancer. The radiation information was very helpful

    The anemia guidelines had always been confusing for when we code primary vs secondary, but this really explained it well. I will approach the cancer/anemia coding differently (and better) going forward.
