Description
There has been one constant in the coding community since March of 2020: change. With changes in ICD-10-CM codes and guidelines, new CPT codes for COVID-19 vaccines and therapies as well as unprecedented timelines for implementing new codes and guidelines, it seems like it’s a moving target. In this webinar, we will present comprehensive and up-to-date information about coding for COVID and COVID-related conditions, immunizations, and therapies.
Objectives:
- List codes for COVID-19 and related conditions
- Determine which CPT and ICD-10-PCS codes to use for reporting COVID-19 immunizations, including boosters
- Apply coding guidelines to COVID-related cases in different health care settings
- Identify New COVID-19 Treatment Add-on Payments (NCTAP) under the inpatient prospective payment system
