Description
How is your blood pressure when determining E/M codes for primary Care? If this conversation raises your blood pressure, you’ll want to check in with us to help lower it! This webinar will discuss documentation and coding requirements for both Annual Preventive Visits (physicals) and Medicare Wellness Visits. We will also show you when it’s appropriate to bill a separate Evaluation and Management code with preventive visits. Conclude this checkup with a review of some of the more common, and frequently missed, screening and counseling codes in Primary Care clinics.
Objectives:
- Compare Preventive visits vs IPPE/ AWV visits
- Determine when a separately identifiable E/M is performed and supported
- Describe screening and counseling codes and their documentation requirements
