Sara Kutz

Sara brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to the Haugen team.  She started her career as a HIM professional, acquiring many skills along the way.  She quickly became well versed in coding, case abstraction, peer review, auditing, coding software development, and education.  Her investigative mindset and interest in coding led her to a fitting role in auditing.  She enjoys the ability to share her in-depth knowledge with our auditing clients – advising on where to search for information, coding guidelines, and the best practices to improve their skills. Sara’s background, patience and easygoing personality provide our clients with an environment to enhance their coding skills with confidence.

Sara joins the Haugen team of auditors from her Wisconsin location.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her close-knit family.
