Description

In part 2 of this nonvascular interventional radiology series, we continue our discussion on these minimally invasive procedures by covering urinary, biliary, and gastrointestinal procedures performed in the IR lab.

Objectives:

  • Differentiate between internal and internal-external biliary catheters
  • Recognize when a tube change is coded as insertion of a new tube vs. replacement of an existing tube
  • Distinguish between biliary procedures performed through percutaneous access vs. ERCP
