Diagnostic psychiatric procedures and psychotherapy services have several medical necessity and documentation requirements as defined by the American Medical Association (AMA), American Psychiatric Association (APA), and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In this webinar, we will discuss these requirements. Additionally, we will review recent OIG findings in relation to psychotherapy documentation deficiencies.
