Since 1992, Medicare payments have been made under the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) for services provided by physicians and other billing professionals. Physicians’ services paid under the PFS are furnished in a variety of settings, including physician offices, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute care settings, hospices, outpatient dialysis facilities, clinical laboratories, and beneficiaries’ homes. Join us for this informative webinar where we discuss the areas the final rule addresses, including payment for telehealth services, evaluation and management visits, advancing access to behavioral health services, payment for skin substitutes, and more.

- Differentiate between facility and professional coding in terms of purpose, billing forms, and coding methodologies
