Janell Madonna, Director Learning Operations
Janell brings over thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry to her role as the director of learning operations with the Haugen Consulting Group. Over the course of her career, Janell has had extensive experience leading teams in healthcare settings.
Prior to joining Haugen Consulting Group, Janell held the position of director of contracting for a large academic medical group with responsibility for professional services contracting, provider enrollment, financial impact analysis, payment review and payment integrity activities.
In addition, Janell has also had many years of experience managing patient access departments, registration training programs, and healthcare financial analysts.
During her tenure at the University of Utah Janell was recognized by the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics Board for her innovative work in developing an organizational solution to improve surgical scheduling. She was also recognized by the University of Utah Medical Group Board for her dedication and strategic leadership in creating a foundation of excellence for payer contracting and provider enrollment.
Janell graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.
Janell and her husband are Coloradans at heart, but have been transplanted to the small town of Tooele, Utah where they live happily at the beck and call of their three dachshunds.
