Kerri Zimmerman, Learning and Development Assistant
Kerri Zimmerman brings a strong background in education and organizational support to her role as Learning and Development Assistant at Haugen Academy. With a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa, Kerri combines her passion for teaching with expertise in coordinating engaging, interactive learning experiences.
In her current role, Kerri supports the development and delivery of Haugen Academy’s online education by collaborating with subject matter experts, reviewing course content, and assisting with LMS management to ensure all offerings reflect current industry standards and align with organizational learning goals.
Prior to joining Haugen Academy, Kerri worked as a pre-K teacher and model teacher at Urbandale Public Schools, leading curriculum development, remote learning initiatives, and PBIS/MTSS leadership efforts. She also applied her grant writing skills at Kitchen Sink Communications, helping organizations secure funding and engage key stakeholders.
Known for her strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and collaborative spirit, Kerri is dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences that empower both learners and educators.
