Description
Its been over a year now since the AMA and CMS largely agreed on the definition of a split/shared visit. However, many coders still have questions regarding how to recognize these types of E/M services. Other questions have arisen including who the billing provider is based on the encounter note and whether modifier FS is mandatory for a split/shared service. All these questions and more will be answered at our webinar – so please join us so we can walk you through the guidelines step-by-step.
Objectives:
- Recognize gynecological operative report terminology and code descriptors indicative of various surgical approaches
- Match procedures such as cystocele and rectocele repairs to the correct CPT codes
