The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) has recently communicated changes to the Recertification Policy which will go into effect on January 1st, 2024.
Haugen Academy is an AHIMA-Approved Continuing Education Provider Program (ACEP) provider, which means 60% of your Continuing Education Units (CEUs) requirement can be met with our courses and webinars in Haugen Academy.
Under AHIMA’s new Recertification Policy, individuals holding AHIMA credentials will need to ensure 40% of their CEUs are obtained directly from AHIMA.
